2025 Of The Year Awards Nominations

We are excited to honor the exceptional contributions of our REALTOR® and Strategic Partner members in 2024 through the prestigious "Of the Year" awards for 2025. Please take a moment to review the descriptions and criteria for each award category listed below before proceeding with your nomination.

How to submit your nomination:

  1. Provide your full name for verification purposes. (Please note: You must be a REALTOR® or Strategic Partner member of the Board. Your identity will remain anonymous to the Awards Committee.)
  2. Enter the name of your nominee.
  3. Select the category for which you are nominating them. (You must complete a separate form for each nomination.)
  4. Share your reasons for nominating this individual for the selected category.

Note: You cannot move on to page 2 until all required information is entered on page one.

Upon submission, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging that your nomination has been successfully received.

Important Details:

  • The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, February 28th, 2025, by 5 PM.
  • Award winners will be announced during the Circle of Excellence event on March 28th, 2025.

For all NCBOR “Of the Year Awards”: 

1. Eligibility: The awards are open to any Agent, Broker, or Strategic Partner in good standing with the Newnan-Coweta Board of Realtors®. 

2. Defining REALTOR® Spirit: When considering a nominee for any award, we're looking for individuals who truly embody the spirit of our Mission and Vision.. Consider adding a brief, friendly explanation of what it looks like to live out those values. For example: 

"...someone who goes the extra mile to support their fellow REALTORS® by teaching others freely, gives back to our community by participating in ‘events’, and always upholds the highest ethical standards.” 


Good Neighbor of the Year Award: Nominees should have made a contribution of materials, personal time, financial contribution or other resources to a community organization or program during the award period. 

An individual can only win once in a 3-year period. Below are the most recent winners:

REALTOR® of the Year Award: Nominees should demonstrate REALTOR® Spirit, REALTOR® Business Accomplishments, Civic Activity, Local/State/National Board Activity. Realtor nominees should be esteemed by their peers for their contributions to the profession, both in sales excellence and in embodying our mission statement and values to enrich the lives of others. 

An individual can only win once in a 3-year period. Below are the most recent winners:

2022 – Craig Jackson 


Strategic Partner of the Year Award: Nominees should demonstrate exceptional support for the Association and its members, showcasing a genuine commitment to our Realtor community. This includes sponsoring at least one Board event (meeting, CE class, or Council event) and earning the respect and admiration of fellow Realtors. 

An individual can only win once in a 3-year period. Below are the most recent winners:

Rookie of the Year Award: This award recognizes outstanding achievement in Sales Production and Active Involvment within the Board. Any REALTOR® new to the business between June 1, 2023 through December 31, 2024 will qualify. The nominee may only be considered for this award once. 


Broker of the Year Award: When considering nominees for this prestigious award, we will be reviewing their contributions and achievements in the following areas:

Leadership Spirit: A leader in the real estate community, demonstrating unwavering support for fellow agents, upholding the highest ethical standards, and actively promoting good real estate practices. This individual is more than just a manager; they're a dedicated mentor who consistently supports and engages with their agents. They're always available to provide guidance and expertise, fostering a collaborative and thriving environment within their organization. Tell us about your nominee's past management accomplishments and how they inspire others! 

Civic Activity: A commitment to making a difference beyond the real estate world. Share examples of how your nominee has been involved in civic and service clubs, charitable organizations, or other community groups during the eligibility period. 

Business Accomplishments: Highlight your nominee's outstanding business conduct, dedication to client service, innovative marketing strategies, and any notable achievements. Don't forget to mention past professional accomplishments that showcase their expertise to include their own education. 

Association Activity: An active and engaged member of our Newnan-Coweta Board of Realtors®, Georgia Association of REALTORS® and/or the National Association of REALTORS®. When called upon, they readily step up to serve the broader real estate community, contributing their time and talents to initiatives at the local, state, and national levels. They are a true champion for the real estate profession. 


Hall of Fame 

The Newnan-Coweta Board of REALTORS® Hall of Fame, established in 2018, is the highest honor bestowed upon our members. It recognizes those individuals who have dedicated their careers to elevating the real estate profession and making a lasting impact on the Georgia real estate landscape. 

Who is Eligible for this Prestigious Recognition? 

To be considered for the Hall of Fame, nominees must meet the following criteria: 

A Legacy of Service: A minimum of 20 years of continuous membership in the Georgia Association of REALTORS®. We'll verify this with GAR to ensure accuracy. 

Honoring the Past and Present: Both current and deceased members are eligible for nomination, ensuring that we celebrate the contributions of those who have shaped our profession. 

Making a Difference: Nominees must have made significant and lasting contributions to the real estate profession. 

Leadership and Involvement: Active participation and leadership in at least two levels of the real estate organization (local/GAR) are essential, demonstrating a commitment to advancing the profession. Nominees should also be recognized as real estate leaders within their community. 

Current Membership (unless deceased): To be eligible, nominees must hold a current membership in the REALTOR® Association, unless they are being nominated posthumously. 

Fresh Nominations Each Year: While an individual may be nominated multiple times, a new form must be submitted each year. This ensures that we have the most up-to-date information for each nominee.
